Integrated with Commend Intercom Solutions PSIM Interface Overview Description The VidSys ICX connector provides a reliable means of integrating Intercom equipment into the VidSys physical security information management (PSIM) software platform. Intercom door units are specified with their locations in the VidSys device inventory. Calls from these door stations are handled like other events reported to the PSIM software and can be processed by VidSys rules to filter and prioritize incoming calls, and to correlate them with other events related to a security situation. Geographical coordinates are used by the PSIM to spatially correlate events and to automatically identify cameras that may provide assessment video. Integrated with Commend Intercom Solutions FLIR Cameleon Interface Overview Description The Commend Intercom Driver enables seamless integration between Commend’s intercom system and FLIR’s advanced camera control software, Cameleon. This interface facilitates real-time, bidirectional communication between both systems, enhancing situational awareness and response capabilities. The driver transmits alarm and event data generated by the Commend intercom system directly to the Cameleon Server. This allows operators to monitor intercom-related events – such as emergency calls, door access activity, or system faults – within the Cameleon interface. Operators can initiate predefined events or actions in the Commend system directly from the Cameleon Server. For example, opening a gate, initiating a voice connection, or activating a preset intercom response can be triggered based on camera analytics or manual input in Cameleon.
